PF MPs ask Lungu to retire

Opposition Patriotic Front -PF- Members of Parliament have called on former president EDGAR LUNGU to retire from active politics.
Speaking during a media press briefing at the National Assembly where nine PF MPs were present, PF Kantanshi MP, ANTHONY MUMBA, said the party parliamentarians have acknowledged the Court ruling.
Mr. MUMBA said the MPs believe that the former president has been a law abiding citizen and have thanked him for his service to the country.
He added that Mr. LUNGU is the only surviving former president, and it is better that he steps aside from active politics and take his rightful position of a statesman.
