ZNS Chief calls for partial Great East Road closure

Zambia National Service ZNS Commander Lieutenant General MALITI SOLOCHI has called for immediate closure of part of the Great East Road in CHINYUNYU area in Rufunsa District to pave way for an Acrow Bridge.
General SOLOCHI says this is because the Culvert has been partially washed away and needs attention immediately.
Speaking when he inspected the crossing point with the Road Development Agency -RDA, General SOLOCHI said equipment will be mobilised on site for installation of the Acrow Bridge.
And RDA Chief Communications and Corporate Affairs Manager ANTHONY MULOWA said the diversion road will be created in the next three days to pave way for the closure of the road and installation of the Acrow Bridge.
Mr. MULOWA further explained that an assessment has been made and established that the area experienced a heavy downpour in the early hours of Wednesday.
